ARM CARE ASSESSMENT

COMPLETER ARM CARE PROGRAM

Our Complete Arm Care Program offers innovative, comprehensive, and specialized training techniques designed to maximize a pitcher's and position player's full potential. Our program is a proven training methodology created to better understand and reduce throwing injuries and muscle imbalances in our players. Each program is designed and tailored to each individual's needs according to their specific age, stature, abilities, and deficiencies. Our program is the first step in the athlete looking to build velocity and learn efficient movement patterns and warmup/recovery routines.

ARMCARE.COM

We use the latest technology (Dynamometer) to accurately test and measure your shoulder strength and range of motion. This information will allow us to develop a personalized arm care program based on the player’s unique needs to maximize their fullest potential best.

RANGE OF MOTION

Internal and External Range of Motion and Should Flexion - Monitoring the range of motion is significant because research has shown even a slight loss or gain in the range of motion can lead to injury.

STRENGTH

Internal and External Rotation and Scaption - Strength deficits or imbalances are one of the leading causes of an arm injury or poor performance.

INDIVIDUALIZED TRAINING

An arm care program aims to improve your arm strength and health to optimize your performance for the entire year. The program will focus on the following areas:

  • Arm Prep
  • Stretches Mobility
  • Arm Activation and Primer for Glutes and Core
  • Throwing Program
  • Strength Program - The program will address arm strength and include building core and functional strength that has been shown to increase velocity and reduce stress on the arm.

CONTINUOUS MONITORING

We are able to continuously monitor the strength, range of motion, health, and performance of all our players. This level of visibility and player accountability allows determining what players are showing signs of fatigue and may need a break to reduce injuries.

PITCHING DEVELOPMENT

We can capture and measure key data metrics using the latest camera and radar technology for pitch analysis, design, correct mechanics, and pitcher development.

  • Spin Rate - The rate at which the ball spins during flight, measure in RPM. There is a strong correlation between spin rate and swing-strike percentage than between velocity and swing-strike percentage.
  • Strike Zone - Know exactly where each pitch lands in or out of the strike zone.
  • Horizontal Angle - The horizontal angle the ball was released out of the hand from the left or right.
  • True Spin - The spin directly impacting the movement of a pitch.
  • Velocity - How fast a pitch is traveling during flight, measured in MPH.
  • Release Side - The distance away from the center of the rubber from the left or right.
  • Spin Efficiency - The percentage of spin directly impacting the movement of a pitch.
  • Release Angle - The vertical angle at which the ball was released out of the hand.
  • Spin Direction - The tilt or angle of the baseball from the release point, measure in degrees.
